We volunteer full time with Youth With A Mission based out of Kona, Hawaii. Every year we have the amazing opportunity to train and send 100’s of students into short and long term missionary work around the world. We believe Jesus Christ is the answer to the world’s problems. We believe, as we devote ourselves to Him and making Him known, we’ll truly see transformation.

Jon’s calling to missions came while serving in an orphanage in Taiwan on his DTS outreach. Since that time he has led more than 10 outreach teams around the world working mainly with Children at Risk. Jon serves on the DTS Leadership Team in Kona, this team gives oversight to the training of 1200 missionaries each year. In 2011, in response to the desperation for clean drinking water in many countries, Jon with some friends launched a ministry called Justice Water (justicewater.net). To date 5000 people now have access to clean water Haiti, Cambodia, Togo, & Uganda.

Elin has a huge heart for the hurting in our world. She believes compassion is about love in action. While leading a team in Cambodia in 2003, she fell in love with the street kids there. She also quickly realized the poor nutrition and lack of education in the developing world. This led Elin to pursue a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, which she actively uses to teach and serve those without access to basic healthcare.
